New Years in Providence, RI

this year for New Years Eve we decided to drive to Providence and see our good friends the Brine Family and even thought the visit was short and the weather cold we had such a great time - we visited an aquarium, held some farm animals and partied all the way to midnight. We can't wait to visit again.

Let's Go to Boston...in the winter.

So what should we do after Christmas during the middle of winter....go North! As we made out way north to meet up with friends in Rhode Island we decided to stop off in Boston, a city we had never visited. We had such a great time and there is so much this wonderful city has to offer...it was just so unbelievably cold, but the girls persevered and we saw a ton of sights, ate some just fantastic pastries and learned a bunch of stuff we never knew before. Definitely want to come back...maybe when it is not -20.

Christmas 2017

For Christmas this year we stayed local, got a real tree, made some gingerbread houses and just enjoyed family. We had a great time and the girls made out with a whole bunch of stuff they definitely didn't need. :) We also had dinner on Christmas Eve at one of our favorite places - Founding Farmers.

Thanksgiving 2017

For Thanksgiving we traveled slightly north to the Kaplan-Swaminatha's and had a great time making dinner and just enjoying our good friends....we even rolled a pumpkin down a hill.

Halloween 2017

Such a great Halloween this year - we dressed up as a witch (Dagny) and the Mad Hatter (Ainsley) and while we all split up this year we all had a great time. Karl especially loved his time at home with the pumpkin (Sadie).
