Colorado - June 2015

This June we had the honor of attending the wedding of Larry and Karen.  We had a great time and used this trip as a chance to also hang out with family and other friends.

So Long River School

After 8 is years at the River School it is time to say goodbye as Ainsley graduates and we move on to our local public school.  It is both exciting for us and girls as it is sad.  Below are just some of the pictures we've collected over the last few weeks from the events we've attended.

Ainsley turns 9!

For her 9th birthday Ainsley wanted to go rock climbing...yes rock climbing.  Both girls absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to do more and more.  

We Met Brad Meltzer!

So Brady Meltzer writes these wonderful 'I Am' books and the girls absolutely LOVE them, especially Dagny, and we had a chance to go to an author meet and greet in Tysons.  He was really great with the girls and really nice.  We can't wait for his next couple of books...especially I Am Helen Keller.

Dagny Turns 7!

For her 7th birthday Dagny wanted to go to All fired Up in DC and make some pottery.  She had a great time with her friends.

Camping with the Otters

This year Dagny was able to go into the mountains of West Virginia to go camping with some of her Otter classmates.  She had a great time camping with Dad and Karl had a great time getting out into nature...except for the bugs...and the toilet 'situation' and the food issues and the sleeping.....  Other than that it was great - can't wait for the next trip!

River School Spring Play

As we've had in previous years the girls were able to participate in this years' spring play.  this year was extra special since Ainsley is a Falcon she was able to help write and shape the show.  both girls had a great time and hope to continue performing next year.
