Happy 2008!

Happy New Year!

We hope that this year brings you even more joy then you had in your life last year.

Ainsley had her 18 month check up a little late (at 19 months), so here are some stats...

*She is back up to the 90th percentile for height at 34 inches.
*She is steady at the 50th percentile for weight at 24 lbs, 4 oz.
*Her head is steady 75th percentile at 18 1/4 inches.
*She had no shots this time (yeah!!).

Spoken English words to date...
(most while also signing and many only understandable to mom and dad)


Mama (sometimes just ma)
Dada (sometimes dadee)

More (sometimes mo)

Ball (baaa)

Ha Ha for a bunny rabit (it hops)


ASL to date...

Receptive language...

She is understanding one step commands such as
"bring me your book", "close the door", "take my hand", etc.
She knows 4 or 5 body parts by name.
Karl has taught her how to give eskimo kisses (he is very pround of this)!


No is becoming very popular in her vocab.
